]]>Cylon #6 by John Anealiohttp://www.thedeadpoets.org/journal/2009/8/27/cylon-6-by-john-anealio.htmlthedeadpoets2009-08-27T23:34:27Z2009-08-27T23:34:27ZJohn Anealio has a great blog full of Geek, Sci-fi, and Fantasy songs. He posted “Cylon #6” in June of 2009 after being inspired by Battlestar Galactica and particularly Tricia Helfer.  I enjoyed the song, but felt I could bring out his inner Jimmy Buffett a bit more with some small mix changes. The structure is nearly identical, but the pacing is slightly slower and I reworked the levels to give it a bit more of a Pop feel. I also brought out his vocals a bit more.  The result was this mix.

It is one of the best films based around the beauty and connectedness of music I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend it if you are a big fan of music and truly believe in what the power of music and art can do for the human spirit. It moved me to tears.
