Binary Day: 42, the Answer to the Ultimate Question, of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

Sunday, October 10th, 2010, if you hadn’t noticed, is Binary Day. That is, it is 10-10-10 which equals 42 in binary. It is a special day because it only comes around rarely, as 11-11-11 will be the last one of this century, and because 42 happens to be the answer to the question of Life, the Universe, and Everything that was proposed in Douglas Adams’ classic novel, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
